Barking, lunging, overreacting to the smallest things. Walks feel stressful, visitors are a nightmare, and your dog never seems to settle.
Flinching at touch, shrinking from sudden movement, fearful in new situations. You want to help, but pushing too hard only seems to make things worse.
You’ve tried positive reinforcement training, desensitisation, enrichment, even calming aids… yet your dog is still tense, still anxious, still not quite themselves.
Maybe friends, family or even trainers say “just more socialisation” or “just more training.” But you know your dog is different — sensitive, intuitive, maybe reactive. And that uniqueness isn’t a problem; it’s a strength waiting to be understood.
You are doing everything you can; you care deeply. It’s not your fault, and this doesn’t mean there isn’t hope.
If this sounds familiar, you are not alone — and TTouch may be the missing piece of the puzzle. 🧩
Tellington TTouch isn’t about forcing behaviour, practising cues, or masking problems. It’s about listening. Observing. Connecting.
Through gentle bodywork and mindful movement, TTouch helps dogs release tension, regulate emotions, and build confidence.
Lights, camera, relaxation! 🎬✨🐶 Remi helping with the TTouch videos; it's not just effective, it's so calming it can put even the most dedicated "actors" into a deep, peaceful slumber.

The Introduction to TTouch Course is taught from a trauma-informed perspective to help both you and your dog feel calmer, safer, and more confident.
As a trauma-informed dog practitioner, I teach this course from a trauma-informed perspective - looking at your dog as a whole: body, mind, and emotions, rather than focusing only on behaviour. Many sensitive or reactive dogs carry layers of past experiences, and TTouch offers gentle ways to release tension, rebuild trust, and create safety without overwhelm.
We also recognise that it’s not just about the dog: guardians need support too. That’s why we guide you at both ends of the lead, helping you feel more confident, calm, and connected as you support your dog’s journey.

Behaviour is an expression of how our dogs are feeling at a particular moment in time. Understanding our dog's body language can help us understand how they are feeling about particular situations.

Wondering if this course is right for you and your dog? Here are the answers to the questions I get asked most often.
(And if your question’s not here, just drop me an email at info@caninesupport.co.uk - I’ll be happy to help.)
The course begins on Tuesday the 17th of February 2026, with live Zoom sessions taking place on Tuesdays at 7pm (UK time) for 6 weeks. Each group Zoom session is focused on teaching, so we can cover the key content thoroughly and make sure you understand each element of the TTouches. There will be time for Q&A, and if you can’t attend live, you’re welcome to send your questions throughout the course. The live sessions make up half of the course. The other half is your online course, which includes step-by-step demonstrations, instructional videos, and resources, which you have permanent access to. You can work through the online course at your own pace.
In TTouch we say “moments rather than minutes.” If you have time to stroke or touch your dog, you have time for TTouch. Even a single TTouch a day can support their nervous system, release tension, and help them feel calmer, safer, and more confident.
Every dog is unique – but TTouch is adaptable for all dogs, from lively puppies to senior companions, nervous rescues to strong-willed adolescents. Because it works with the nervous system, rather than focusing only on behaviour, it often succeeds where other methods feel incomplete. Many guardians say it was the missing piece that finally helped their dog relax and thrive.
No problem. All Zoom sessions are recorded, and you’ll have permanent access to the replays. You can watch them back at a time that suits you and revisit them whenever you need a refresher.
This course is deliberately kept small so everyone gets the attention they need. You’ll have opportunities to ask questions during the live Zooms, receive personalised feedback, and be supported throughout the 6 weeks. Plus, you’ll have access to the client-only Facebook group for ongoing encouragement.
Not at all. While massage works mainly on muscles, TTouch focuses on the nervous system. These gentle, mindful touches create deep shifts in body awareness, which in turn influence emotional balance and behaviour. It’s about connection, communication, and calm — not manipulation.
Not at all. This course is designed for complete beginners as well as those who may have tried a little TTouch before. Everything is explained step by step, with demonstrations, so you’ll feel confident using the techniques from the very start.
That’s absolutely fine — and actually very common with sensitive or anxious dogs. TTouch is about working at your dog’s pace, building trust gradually, and respecting their comfort levels. There are techniques you can use without direct touch to start with, helping your dog feel safer until they’re ready for more.
Yes, definitely. TTouch perfectly complements positive, reward-based training. It helps your dog feel calmer, more balanced, and ready to learn, which makes other training approaches even more effective.
All payments are taken in British Pounds (GBP). If you’re outside the UK, your bank will automatically convert the amount into your local currency at the current exchange rate. This is usually a straightforward process, and you can get an estimate of the cost in your currency with a quick online search.
TTouch has been life-changing for me, my dogs, and those I’ve supported over the years. Ten years ago, my Bullmastiff, Keto, became reactive after losing her big sister Jinx. She was suddenly terrified of everything. Normal reward-based training couldn’t reach her. But through TTouch, I rebuilt her trust, helped her feel safe, and watched her transform into the most confident, incredible dog.
When Chloe, my rescue, joined the family, she was petrified of humans. Again, it was TTouch that built her trust, creating a connection I know no other “training method” could.
Remi has been the dog like no other, and it has taken time for us to understand each other. I'm so glad I have my TTouch knowledge so that I can adapt things to work for her.
I’ve lived this journey myself — and now I’m here to guide you through it too.
