Meet Your Host - Katharine Brunsch

I am a Canine Wellness Trainer with qualifications in both Tellington TTouch® and Trauma-Informed Dog Practice. My work focuses on supporting the whole dog — considering their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, alongside behaviour and training.

I don’t just teach these techniques — I use them with my own dogs every single day. Through TTouch bodywork, groundwork and enrichment activities, I’ve seen firsthand how gentle, thoughtful approaches can help dogs feel more balanced, physically comfortable, emotionally regulated and confident in the world around them.

I am passionate about helping guardians build strong, fulfilling relationships with their canine companions. I look forward to welcoming you to this workshop and sharing some simple yet powerful techniques you can begin using with your own dog straight away.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email Katharine at info@caninesupport.co.uk or call on 07369 251682

Tellington TTouch® is a gentle training and handling method that uses bodywork and groundwork exercises to help animals release tension, feel calmer, and build confidence. It’s suitable for dogs of all ages and breeds.

This workshop is suitable for dogs involved in a wide range of activities, including Hoopers, Agility, Rally-O, Scentwork, Mantrailing and general training classes. The techniques can also be beneficial for nervous, sensitive or easily over-aroused dogs.

Not at all. While this workshop is focused on supporting active dogs, the techniques can benefit any dog by improving body awareness, confidence, emotional balance and relaxation.

Yes. TTouch is a kind, non-invasive approach that can be adapted to suit each dog’s needs, whether they are puppies, seniors, or somewhere in between.

No—this is a people-only workshop. We’ll be using demonstration materials and toy dogs so you can learn the techniques in a relaxed environment before trying them with your own dog at home.

Absolutely. You’ll learn practical, step-by-step techniques that you can begin using with your dog immediately.

Many guardians use TTouch techniques to help support dogs who become over-aroused, distracted, tense or overly excited in busy environments. TTouch encourages greater body awareness, relaxation and emotional regulation.

NOWZAD is a charity that rescues and supports animals in challenging and conflict-affected areas around the world. Their work helps provide veterinary care, rescue support and safety for animals in need. Part of the proceeds from this workshop will be donated to support their ongoing work.

We understand that sometimes plans change. Because part of the proceeds from this workshop will be donated to the NOWZAD Charity, we’re unable to offer refunds on tickets.
